2011 CTS models

As a big incentive to get people into a Cadillac dealership and remain loyal to the brand, the company is offering a cool program called Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance. For any 2011 models sold between now and Sept 7th, all scheduled oil changes, tire rotation, engine and cabin air filters and a vehicle inspection will be Free. Nope, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. This maintenance program is good for 4 years/50,000 miles.

Keep in mind that this does not include brake service and other service on parts that have to be serviced for normal wear and tear. Still, what it does cover is awesome. All the money you’ll be saving on oil changes and the other above listed services you can hopefully use towards something enjoyable! One awesome model if you want to drive around in attractive luxury is the 2011 CTS sedan. It’s longer and wider than previous CTS models and has a beautiful interior. One awesome feature is that is comes with an eight speaker Bose Stereo system. This is a standard feature you won’t have to pay extra for! This Cadillac Chicago model also comes with a 3.0 liter V6 that provides 270 hp. It is a rear wheel drive and comes with a long list of standard safety features.

If you need something roomier, consider the 2011 Cadillac SRX. It’s a four door SUV that starts out at $35K for a base model. It has that attractive Cadillac styling, both on the exterior and interior. It comes with plenty of passenger and cargo space- 5 people can comfortably be transported in this newest SRX. It also comes with a great warranty program in addition to the 2011 free maintenance schedule discussed above.

Definitely with its new design, I would pick the SRX above the Lexus RX and other competitor models. There is still nothing that really makes a driver feel as special as owning a Cadillac. And with some of the design nods to Cadillac’s roots in the 50s, this is a model sure to entice both the classic and contemporary car buyer. While I haven’t yet been to a Cadillac Chicago dealer to check out the new version, I intend for my Chicago SRX text drive to be much more fun than my past SRX experiences. I might even get a few looks from the ladies in the 2010 model.

And though Cadillac won’t start building these new guys until December 2011, the new model should be pretty impressive. It will be the largest four-door sedan created by Cadillac, with many already referring to it as a “stretched ultra-luxury vehicle”. I think XTS was a better choice for the name, though.

Though not too much has been revealed about this mystery Cadillac, the ranks which it will join have already been announced. The upcoming lineup for Cadillac is looking pretty solid, and the XTS may just be the cherry on top.

Already expected soon at area Cadillac Chicago dealers are the CTS Wagon and SRX Crossover. The CTS Coupe should be arriving sometime next summer, and if the XTS sedan can arrive by 2012, Cadillac will have its perfect mix of ultimate luxury, driving amusement and practical function.

The new XTS model is also predicted to compete directly with brands like Merdeces-Benz (S-Class), Lexus (LS), BMW (7 series) and Audi (A8). It is also predicted, along with the rest of the future Cadillac lineup, to help boost Cadillac’s position within the market, a key for GM’s future success. By replacing the slow-selling DTS, the new XTS will surely help Cadillac sell more and create a stronger customer base.

So whether you  have been waiting years for this news or if this is the first you have heard of the Cadillac XTS, I am sure it comes as a welcome announcement. There will obviously be more information on the new XTS as the release gets closer, and any Cadillac dealer in Chicago will have more information as time goes on as well. But for now, just relax and know that Cadillac has got it under control moving forward.
