Staff training is always an important part of a manager’s job. Making sure staff are professional, knowledgeable and courteous is vital to a business’ success! This is why Cadillac is looking to Ritz-Carlton. The luxury hotel chain uses a professional service to help train its staff to interact and provide service to the more “upscale clientele” that frequent Ritz- Carlton. The staff at a Ritz are known for providing excellent customer service. Thus, Cadillac has decided to bring some reps from that hotel chain in to work with dealership staff.

Cadillac DTS earns high notes in Vehicle Dependability Study
There’s some great news concerning the Chicago DTS. It has been chosen as the most reliable model by J.D. Power and Associates. They recently ran a vehicle dependability study and found it to have the fewest problems of 76 per 100 cars. In fact, JDP has found that in general cars are getting more reliable. Most likely thanks to improvements in materials used, technology, and engineering. 25 out of 36 brands tested have improved their long term durability.
Check out the impressive beginnings of the 2013 Cadillac Escalade
I bought a used Cadillac Escalade Chicago about 8 months ago. I am really happy with it, it’s a 2007 edition, performs well, has a nice interior, and a ton of cargo space. Now, I find out that the 2013 Escalade is in the works and this certainly gets my attention. This luxury SUV, which will hit the lots in about 3 years, will come just around the time I’ll probably be looking for something new….Hmmm!??!
Cadillac CTS-V Coupe a Car Worth Waiting For
The Chicago CTS is going to be hotter and faster! The CTS-V coupe was named one of the top 6 autos that is worth waiting for by CNN Money. This newest Cadillac model was unveiled in L.A. at their November auto show. There is a lot to say about this model!
The CTS-V coupe will share some of the same features as the V-series sedan. For example, it will have the supercharged v8 engine that gives 556 hp. Wow, makes me wanna test drive one right now! Also, two 6 speed transmissions will be available: The Tremec TR6060 manual that has a dual disc clutch, or the Hydra-Matic 6L90. The Hydra-Matic is automatic and has paddle shifters. Like the Chicago Escalade, this sounds like another great luxury car produced by GM!
The CTS-V Coupe will have some exterior features that the sedan does not. The coupe will be a 2-door, somewhat sportier looking model. Of all the Chicago CTS cars, it has the wider of the rear tracks, one inch to be exact…This is a feature that one may or may not notice, but it’s mentioned several times as being an important feature that makes it coupe-like. Length wise, it will be about 2 inches shorter than the sedan. The Chicago CTS will be without B-pillars and traditional door handles. Instead of the handles, the V-coupe has touch pads that give it a clean look.
Inside the CTS coupe, Cadillac has placed some great amenities. For example, the leather interior has some hand stitched trim on the door, center console and instrument panel. Talk about high quality! Technology wise, The coupe comes with Bose sound system, ipod connectivity, pop-up navigation system and more! These are features that are also found on other Chicago CTS cars.
It sounds like the Cadillac CTS-V coupe will be a welcome addition to the lineup of Cadillac cars. I can’t wait to see it parked next to the Chicago Escalade later this year!
Cadillac Reveals New “Face Lifted” Logo
Your future Chicago Escalade may have a subtle, but hopefully noticeable, change: a new logo. The company has not officially released the new emblem, nor have they set a date when it will appear on new vehicles. The new logo looks very nice. It has a more textured effect on both the wreath and crest. It is supposed to be a good representation for its “arts and science ” campaign. The design inside of the crest has a sort of retro feel to it. Continue Reading…
